We are always asked "can we spray decks?"

They are probably one of the hardest things to clean.
A lot of decks have been waterblasted which has ripped up the surface enabling
black mould to get a good foothold.
If you have a new deck DO NOT waterblast it. Just use a moss & mould killer.
You can use it on all timbers.
To clean, dilute Spray and Away 5 parts water to one part Spray and Away.
Make sure all prize plants are protected, especially grape vines.
Remove all pot plants and anything else you shouldn't spray like the kids
footwear!
Keep your pets off until the first spray has dried.
Leave wooden or plastic deck chairs as you can spray those at the same time.
Spray on, giving real mouldy areas an extra spray.
I spray the whole deck evenly then go back and respray the bad parts over again.
If it is real thick with black mould, give it a going over wth a stiff bristled long
handled scrubber.
That's it.
After about 8 weeks, you can give it a scrub with warm water to loosen up the dead mould.
Depending on the weather it may take 16 - 20 weeks to see good results.
